Stoicheia: The Classical Elements
Aristotle’s idea of the Classical Elements was that everything was made from Earth, Air, Water, and Fire. The fifth element, the Aether, permeated space and was the medium of the celestial spheres that held the planets and the stars.
In this simulation, choose two elements and put them together to see what you get. You may also choose to combine any words you can think of. Know that this model does better with common nouns and objects rather than people’s names or other proper nouns.
